The Blush mobile app will help you find the right varietal for your occasion and price range — and where to buy a bottle.
To provide recommendations tailored to you, Blush asks you a series of questions about your taste preferences, event and price range. The app then suggests a number of different wines based on this information. You can also search for wines by name, varietal, region and rating.
Blush’s recommendations feature the name, type, region and cost as well as tags like “top-rated,” “popular” and “best value.” You can click on an info button for more details or a “find nearby” button to locate a bottle.
Complete profiles of recommended wines also include awards won, critics’ and users’ ratings and how precise a match a wine is with your taste profile.
You can rate and review wines and save and share (via Facebook, Twitter, text message or e-mail) these and other notes.
Blush is free for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and is optimized for the iPhone 5.
