MLB: Indians ink Myers

The Indians have agreed to terms with free agent right-hander Brett Myers on a one-year contract. Myers, who pitched for the Astros and White Sox last season, will get a chance to win a spot in Cleveland’s starting rotation.

Former AL MVP Miguel Tejada has reached a minor league deal with the Royals and says he is ready to return to the majors. The 38-year-old infielder got a one-year contract that will be worth $1.1 million if he makes the big leagues. There is an additional $400,000 in performance bonuses.
