The two comedians — and real-life best buds — are hosting the Golden Globes in two weeks.
To promote the first big show of the long and glamorous awards season, they posed in formal gowns and the famed sneakers — a reminder that no one should take the upcoming Globes too seriously.
It is, after all, the only awards show where the stars get to drink during the telecast.
Fey and Poehler take over the hosting duties this year from the dangerous Ricky Gervais — who made headlines for a couple of years in a row by taking the air out of the reigning stars of Hollywood.
It’ll be a hard act to follow but already Fey is promising — in an on-air promo — that this year’s Globes will be “slightly ghetto.”
