Jets’ player decisions

The 2013 Jets are going to look vastly different than this season’s team. Here is a look at 10 key players whose futures are uncertain:

* MARK SANCHEZ, QB

The quarterback almost certainly will be back because he has $8.25 million guaranteed coming to him. The Jets could cut him and absorb a huge cap hit, but it seems more likely he returns and competes for the starting job.

* TIM TEBOW, QB

He’s gone. The Jets will release him by March.

* DARRELLE REVIS, CB

The team’s best player has one year left on his contract. Before he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee and missed most of this season, the thought was the Jets would redo his deal before the 2013 season. Now, do they look to trade him? Re-sign him? It’s a tricky one.

VOTE: WHO SHOULD THE JETS BRING BACK IN 2013?

* DUSTIN KELLER, TE

Keller missed eight games due to hamstring and ankle injuries. He will be a free agent in March, and the Jets face a tough decision. If he asks for a lot of money, he’s probably gone.

* CALVIN PACE, LB

Another expected cap casualty.

Pace has a base salary of $5.8 million next season and the Jets would save $8.5 million in cap space by releasing him. It is not as easy a decision as Scott because he can still play. They could release him and try to bring him back for less money.

* LARON LANDRY, S

The Jets got him on the cheap because he was a health risk. Now, he played a full season and made the Pro Bowl. Cha-ching. He’s probably too expensive for the Jets.

* BART SCOTT, LB

Rex Ryan’s first free-agent signing is a likely goner. He has a base salary of $6.9 million in 2013, and the Jets would save $7.1 million in cap space by cutting him. His skills are diminished. It’s time to move on.

* MIKE DEVITO, DT

DeVito has become a steady force on the defensive line. He is a free agent and has driven up his price with a strong 2012 season. Jets should keep him.

* BRANDON MOORE, G

The longest-tenured player on offense is a free agent. He has been a consistent, durable player who has provided leadership. It seems like the two sides are ready to split, but a new GM could decide to bring him back.

* SHONN GREENE, RB

Back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons might have Greene and his agent thinking he has inflated value. Bilal Powell looks capable of taking over. It’s time to let Greene go.
