Gun suspect shot

Police shot a Brooklyn man yesterday after he aimed a gun at them in East New York, cops said.

Two NYPD housing cops were patrolling the Cypress Hill development when they spotted two punks banging on the vestibule door of a Sutter Avenue building at 6:50 p.m., police said.

One of the hoods, 19, ran away, but then pulled a .40-caliber semiautomatic handgun, police said.

A cop chasing him on foot fired and hit the armed teen in the left buttock.

The gunman, who sources said has an open warrant and seven prior arrests, was in stable condition at Brookdale Hospital.
