THE ENTREPRENEUR:
Alexa Hirschfeld, 28
The Buzz: The Harvard grad and Manhattan native is the co-founder of Paperless Post, the chic online invite company (which just launched a paper line, too) favored by the likes of Diane von Furstenberg. She has brains, Gwyneth Paltrow good looks and, yeah, a few accolades under her belt. (She was named one of Fortune’s “10 Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs” in 2010.)
Relationship status: single
Cool-girl cachet: “I really enjoyed meeting Charlie Rose and Gayle King,” says Hirschfeld, who appeared on “CBS This Morning” with her brother and co-founder, James, 26, in November.
Stomping grounds: Despite looking prim and proper, Hirschfeld’s got her pulse on the party scene. She favors the Electric Room in the Meatpacking District on off-nights and house-music performances in Williamsburg and Greenpoint.
Style staples: The self-professed “eclectic” Greenwich Village resident favors the likes of Rag & Bone, Jil Sander and Alexander Wang.
Forecast for 2013: Hirschfeld is expanding her operations to include engraved wedding invites (both paper and online), as well as a mobile creation tool for on-the-go party planners.
