Lo ducks date with NY court

Lindsay Lohan wasn’t ready for her Manhattan Criminal Court close-up.

The troubled “Mean Girls” star stayed in London yesterday rather than appear at her misdemeanor assault case, in which she’s accused of sucker-punching a Florida fortuneteller in a Chelsea nightclub.

But no warrant was issued, as prosecutors weren’t ready either.

More than a month after the predawn Nov. 29 incident in the VIP section of the club Avenue, they are still investigating and have yet to draw up a criminal complaint in the starlet-on-psychic smackdown.

“It may very well be that this case does not move forward,” Lohan’s lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, told the media throng that turned up at the courthouse in hopes of a Lohan sighting.

The DA’s Office is still assessing the credibility of eyewitnesses and of bottle-blond Palm Beach-based soothsayer Tiffany Mitchell, 26.
