Accused stalker’s mom sues Yank GM

The mom of a woman who allegedly stalked Yankee General Manager Brian Cashman filed suit against the baseball executive yesterday, claiming he tricked her into calling 911 to discredit her daughter.

In a wild Manhattan Supreme Court complaint, Caroline Meanwell charged that Cashman conspired with her daughter Louise Meanwell’s former shrink and his own legal team to strong-arm the mom into reporting to officials that Louise would harm herself.

They allegedly told Caroline Meanwell that her daughter, who was threatening to take her affair with Cashman public, was suicidal.

“The gang’s plan, while shocking and outrageous, seemed to be concocted and executed by the three stooges rather than a physician, a law firm and a sports executive,” according to the complaint.

The alleged motive was to get Louise Meanwell institutionalized, so as to discredit her claims of an affair with Cashman, the lawsuit said.

The complaint takes shots at Cashman, calling him a “man-child.” It also said he boasted that “the Yankees control the universe and he controls the Yankees.”

Caroline Meanwell’s swing-for-the-fences lawsuit names Louise Meanwell’s former psychiatrist, Dr. Charlotte Murphy, and Cashman’s lawyers, Eric Creizman and Caroline Johnston Polosi, as defendants.

The suit accuses Murphy of sharing confidential client-patient information with Cashman.

It also claims emotional distress but doesn’t cite a dollar figure for damages. Louise Meanwell is not named a plaintiff.

Caroline Meanwell said the she met with Cashman and his lawyers at the legal team’s Midtown Manhattan offices on Jan. 27 and that’s where they pressured her to call 911 on Louise.

“Cashman was visibly nervous in that he was profusely sweating and gnawing at this finger nails [during this meeting],” according to the lawsuit. “Cashman desperately attempted to convince plaintiff that he had nothing more than a `one night stand’ with Louise.”

Cashman, his lawyers and Murphy didn’t immediately return calls last night for comment.

Louise Meanwell is free on bail and awaiting trial for alleged grand larceny by extortion and stalking against Cashman.
