Here’s a reverse commute no one wants!
Five people were injured yesterday when an ascending escalator at the Exchange Place PATH station in New Jersey went haywire and suddenly reversed.
Commuters on the manic escalator scrambled to get off, some by trying to outpace the descending steps.
A PATH spokesman said the agency is looking at flood damage from Sandy as a cause.
