Missing fashion king Vittorio Missoni may be the latest victim of a new Bermuda Triangle, a cluster of islands off Venezuela where at least 15 small planes have crashed, declared emergencies — or vanished — in the last 20 years.
Missoni’s twin-engine plane vanished Friday after taking off from an airport on Los Roques islands.
The 15 aviation accidents and emergencies since the mid-1990s have triggered speculation about a supposed “Los Roques curse.”
