Paulina adds new ‘wrinkle’

Ex-supermodel Paulina Porizkova yesterday blasted a lawsuit that claims Avon is using a “highly embellished” photo of her to tout a line of pricey wrinkle creams — although she added that a little retouching never hurt anyone.

The Czech-born beauty, 47, whose image was used in the ad for Avon’s “Anew” line, told The Post that class-action plaintiff Jade Barrett of Manhattan is “insane” if she doesn’t know fashion photos are routinely retouched.

“You haven’t seen a picture in a magazine [that isn’t] since at least Adobe Photoshop came out, so get with the time,” Porizkova said.

She added that professional lighting and a good photographer can work wonders.

“Do I look better in some pictures than others? I’m sure,” she said.

The model said she wasn’t sure if the advertising photo in question had been retouched.

The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan federal court, cites an un-retouched 2011 photo of a “wrinkled” Porizkova. It claims the cream is “snake oil” and seeks at least $5 million in damages.

Porizkova said Barrett “has a lot of companies to sue” if she’s going to challenge beauty-ad claims.

“I hope no one will reward this crazy idea of suing over a beauty cream that doesn’t work,” she said.
