The Rams are planning to hire Rob Ryan as their new defensive coordinator, according to a source.
Another source said the deal is not done yet, but the team is expected to hire him.
The Cowboys fired Rob Ryan earlier this week, creating speculation that Rex might hire his brother for his staff. But Rob Ryan landed in St. Louis where he will work under Jeff Fisher.
Ryan has been the defensive coordinator for the Raiders, Browns and Cowboys before this.
