Arrest in parka slay

A teenager was arrested for his alleged role in the slaying of a 16-year-old Lower East Side boy for his designer parka last Friday night, sources told The Post.

Timothy Montalvo, 16, was busted yesterday for allegedly taking part in the fatal shooting of Raphael Ward in front of a church on Rivington Street after Ward resisted demands to relinquish the parka.

Montalvo was one of four teenagers seen on surveillance footage entering and exiting a nearby grocery store shortly before the confrontation.

Cops are still seeking the other alleged assailants in the case.

Montalvo has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon and murder. It was unclear if he’s suspected of shooting Ward.

A low-key kid who loved baseball and basketball, Ward lived in the nearby Baruch Houses with his mother and brother.

The senseless slaying drew outrage from local residents, and Facebook tribute pages for the slain teen have drawn thousands of views.

Ward eerily predicted his demise with a Facebook posting that inexplicably said “I’m Dead” hours before his death.
