A group of Bay Ridge neighbors has started a petition to put the kibosh on plans for a beer garden expected to draw teeming hordes of Pabst Blue Ribbon-loving, knit-cap wearers from Williamsburg and other parts of North Brooklyn.
Residents living near the planned Lock Yard on Fifth Avenue between 92nd and 93rd streets fear a noisy nightmare of indie music fans.
Had they known the outdoor bar would feature music, neighbors say they would have raised objections before Community Board 10 approved Lock Yard’s liquor license.
“Why would they want to be where there are so many seniors?” said Marisa Falero, whose home borders the site where the bar is set to open in late June.
