When single New York women fantasize about the perfect guy, they rank physical fitness first — and green eyes also turn them on — according to a new survey.
WhatsYourPrice.com, a dating- auction Web site, surveyed 9,345 of its female members in the Big Apple to get New York’s definition of “The Perfect Man.’’
Asked to rank their priorities from a choice of seven physical and other attributes, New York women gave top billing to body type, and said they preferred an athletic build over “slim,’’ “average’’ or “overweight.’’
Next, they valued education, and preferred a graduate degree. Income was ranked third, with women hoping for men who earned $150,000 to $200,000.
Rounding out the profile of perfection, guys should be green-eyed, brown-haired, be social drinkers and nonsmokers.
A man with all those attributes is virtually “guaranteed’’ a first date, said Leroy Velasquez, spokesman for WhatsYourPrice.com, a Web site where male members pay female members to go out on a first date.
“It gives generous members the opportunity to date attractive members who may not even give them a chance on a traditional dating site if they’re not as attractive or as outgoing as another suitor,’’ he said.
