Vengeful Pack is pick at ’Stick

Including his 1997-2011 seasons in The Post, Cat’s record in print stands at 454-393 (53.6 percent) against the spread.

TOMORROW

Packers (+3) over 49ERS: This is set to be tougher than the NFC Championship matchup, which aids Packers focus … as will Green Bay’s opening-week loss to Frisco (and Alex Smith … hmmm) in Lambeau. Given that Green Bay doesn’t get mad, it gets even (13-1 on scoreboard in most-recent 14 revenge shots), that bodes well. This also represents homecoming for sizzling Aaron Rodgers (out of Chico, and a Cal Bear product), who got tabbed 23 spots behind Smith in the ’05 draft.

Yes, Candlestick’s a house of horrors for visitors, but Colin Kaepernick against Packers’ ballhawking defensive backfield is fraught with danger, especially because Kaepernick is no longer able to access such weapons as Mario Manningham and Kyle Williams. Jim Harbaugh employs a very tight rotation on defense, including recovering defender Justin Smith (triceps tendon), and they could be worn down (having yielded 34 to the Patriots, and that fat 42 to the Seahawks). Packers (+3) getting back, for one unit.

LAST WEEK: 0-2. Oklahoma (minus one unit). Redskins (minus one unit).

SEASON: 23-13.
