‘Cannibal’ cop’s wife was a real dish: feds

The wife of accused NYPD “cannibal cop” Gilberto Valle might have been on the menu — her name and a physical description of her came up while he was discussing an “intended victim” with a co-conspirator, prosecutors said yesterday.

Valle and a person previously identified as “Ali Khan,” who claimed to be a butcher in India, engaged in a creepy Internet chat that seemed to investigators as if they were talking about the ex-cop’s wife, Kathleen, the feds say.

“Is she a vegetarian?” Khan typed, according to the feds.

“Yes . . . she is,” Valle replied.

“OK . . . then her meat quality will be slightly less. She will taste like a tasty goat,” Khan wrote.

Valle, 28, was busted in October after Kathleen allegedly discovered on his computer plans to cannibalize women.

Prosecutors disclosed the chat in an effort to introduce video of a goat being slaughtered at Valle’s upcoming Manhattan federal court trial. Khan had allegedly sent Valle a link to the YouTube clip as a “how-to.”

Defense lawyers say the “gory” video would sicken jurors and prompt a mistrial.

Valle’s lead lawyer didn’t comment last night but has said in court papers that Valle’s online chats represented “illusory plans.”
