Aqueduct canceled again

With a blizzard in the forecast, the New York Racing Association canceled today’s live racing at Aqueduct. It’s the second day in a row the storm has knocked out the card at the Big A.

Aqueduct and the Belmont Café will remain open for simulcasting, with today’s card at Gulfstream Park featuring four graded stakes including the Grade 1 Donn Handicap and a showdown in the Gulfstream Park Turf between Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom and Point of Entry, one of last year’s top turf horses. Telephone and Internet wagering will be available through NYRA Rewards.

Live racing is expected to resume as scheduled tomorrow.
