A mayor in a different vein? Chris Quinn goes glam

The Issue: City Council Speaker Christine Quinn’s vampy cover photo in this week’s New York magazine.

If her campaign for mayor doesn’t work out, Council Speaker Christine Quinn definitely has a chance for a role in future Twilight movies (“Mayor Dracula,” Jan. 29).

Thank you to The Post for finally exposing the real Quinn.

Voters should take a good look now, because if she is elected mayor, she’ll put the bite on all New Yorkers, suck their wallets dry and drain the life out of them.

If anyone doubts the media’s liberal bias, just compare the airbrushed photo of Quinn on the cover of New York magazine to the gangster-style photo of Chris Christie on the cover of Time magazine last month.

Enough said.

If Quinn is serious about getting a makeover for the magazines, she only has to look to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand for inspiration.

But there are side effects from a million-dollar makeover. Gillibrand turned into a totally different person.

If Quinn chooses this path, who knows where it might lead?

Maybe someday she will vault into the Senate and replace Gillibrand as Chuck Schumer’s handmaiden.Andy Romanic

I don’t care what Quinn looks like in that photo shoot.

She is responsible for the fact that Mayor Bloomberg is in office for a third term.

The people of New York voted several times in favor of term limits, but with Quinn’s help Bloomberg was able to override voters’ wishes.

I live in Rockaway, where crime has soared since Hurricane Sandy, and we still don’t have street lights or traffic lights in some areas.

Between the mayor’s performance post-Sandy and Quinn’s role in keeping him in office, I hope she doesn’t even get a first term in City Hall.
