Tot injured in stroller fall during robbery attempt

A 2-year-old girl was injured when she fell out of her stroller during robbery attempt in Brooklyn Friday afternoon, cops said.

The tot’s 29-year-old mother was pushing the stroller near Dekalb and Tompkins Avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant at around 12:20 p.m. when the thief ran up and tried to snatch the woman’s purse from the handlebars of the stroller, cops said.

The woman put a fight and struggled with the would-be thief who eventually ran off empty-handed, according to police.

Cops said the child fell out of the stroller as the two tussled for the bag and suffered abrasions to the nose and arm.

The child was taken to Woodhull Medical center in stable condition, cops said.
