Victim ‘fingers’ suspect

A female robber’s finger was bitten off by a Midtown sneaker salesman who had just been shot by her accomplice — and the missing digit helped cops track her down, authorities said.

The suspects, Anita Smith, 42, and Mark Lee, of Jersey City, allegedly pretended to be buyers and phoned to set up a meeting with businessman Mamadou Diallo, 35, at his West 35th Street office on May 11.

But instead of doing a deal, Lee allegedly shot Diallo in the leg and Smith Maced him.

The wounded victim grabbed Smith and bit off half of her right index finger.

The pair fled, but cops fingered them by tracing their cellphone number to New Jersey and asking 911 dispatchers there to see if any one had reported losing a finger.

A bleeding Smith was busted in Jersey City. Lee was arrested a short time later.
