‘Stefon’ stepping out of ‘SNL’; Armisen & Sudeikis not far behind

‘Saturday Night Live” comic Bill Hader is leaving the show following its season finale this weekend, officials said yesterday.

Hader, an eight-year veteran of the comedy show, is best known for his impressions of actor Al Pacino and Stefon, a gay club reporter known for recommending over-the-top night spots on the show’s “Weekend Update” segment. Hader, 34, is the second cast member to confirm his departure after this season.

Seth Meyers, the “Weekend Update” anchor, was named the new host of the network’s “Late Night” talk show, taking over for Jimmy Fallon.

Fred Armisen, a 10-year veteran of the show, and Jason Sudeikis, are also both reportedly ready to move on.
