Car-ram tragedies in Bronx

A 16-year-old girl was killed and five other Bronx pedestrians were injured yesterday when they were struck by vehicles in three accidents, police said.

The 16-year-old victim along with two other women, 16 and 51, were struck on Grand Concourse near Mt. Eden Parkway at around 3:30 p.m. The two teenagers were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where one of the girls was declared dead and the other listed in stable condition.

The 51-year old victim was in stable condition at Lincoln Hospital.

In an earlier incident, Keiona Vann, 14, and a pal were crossing the Grand Concourse at East 167th Street at about 9 a.m. when a car hit her, cops said.

She was in critical condition last night at Lincoln Hospital, her family said. Police said no criminality was suspected.

Two boys, 9 and 11, were critical at Jacobi Hospital after being hit at Morrison and Westchester avenues at 2:45 p.m.
