A man committed suicide by jumping into the East River in Turtle Bay this morning, police said.
A 911 caller reported the jump off East 49th Street and the FDR Drive at 9:10 a.m.
The jumper was barely alive when he was fished out of the water and was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital, police sourc¬es said.
He had no ID on him, investigators said, adding that no criminality was suspected. First responders said the man looked to be in his 40s.
