WATCH: Carly Rae Jepsen’s awful first pitch

Practice throwing … maybe?

“Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepsen missed her target when tossing the ceremonial first pitch before Sunday’s Tampa Bay Rays game against the Astros.

Jepsen attempted to toss the ball to the waiting catcher.

That didn’t quite happen.

Instead, the ball landed maybe seven feet in front of Jepsen – well left – then bounced four times before caroming off a cameraman’s gear. As Jepsen’s pitch made its trek to nowhere, Jepsen mouthed “oh my …” and laughed, covering her face with her hands, the singer now entering the annals of the worst first pitches in baseball history.
