A teenager was beaten — and later died from his injuries — in a gang retaliation in Williamsbridge, authorities said.

Antonio Lyles, 17, opened fire on a group of men outside the Edenwald Houses at Schieffelin Avenue and East 222nd Street at about 3 p.m. Monday, cops said.

No one was hit, cops said, but the gunman’s foes then chased him into a nearby building and cornered him.

Lyles was beaten by the men, with one smashing him several times with a rock, police said.

Officers found Lyles critically injured and barely alive, cops said.

A .32-caliber semi-automatic pistol was found nearby.

Lyles was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died yesterday.

Police arrested Ezequiel Pena, 20, and Stanley Hampton, 18, in connection with the victim’s death, cops said.

They were both initially charged with gang assault, with additional charges possible, sources said.

A man talking to his girlfriend on a street in Soundview was shot to death early yesterday, authorities said.

Oscar Aravjo, 20, was hanging out with his girlfriend near Commonwealth Avenue and East 172nd Street just after midnight when an unidentified gunman approached them, cops said.

Without saying a word, the shooter blasted Aravjo in the head as the woman looked on in horror, sources said.

The shooter fled in a livery cab.

City paramedics pronounced Aravjo dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.

Manhattan

A career criminal was busted for sexually abusing a 23-year-old woman acquaintance in Greenwich Village after the two spent the night out drinking, cops said.

Cory Reid, 33, met up with the woman for drinks Saturday night, but early the next morning he allegedly tried to force himself on her.

The suspect got the victim alone at about 8:45 a.m. in a building at Jones and Bleecker streets and sexually abused her, cops said.

Reid was charged with criminal sex act and sexual abuse, police said.

Reid has more than 80 prior arrests, including collars for drug possession and grand larceny, cops said.

He was being held on $7,500 bail, according to the Department of Correction.

Queens

Police are searching for two dissatisfied thieves who robbed a man in Kew Gardens and then assaulted him when he didn’t hand over enough cash, authorities said.

The crooks approached the 59-year-old victim on July 29 at 11 p.m. near Jamaica Avenue and 134th Street and demanded that he fork over his valuables, cops said.

The victim gave up his cellphone and what little money he had, prompting one of the men to punch him in the face, according to police.

The victim fell to the ground, suffering a head injury, and the duo fled the scene.

The thieves are described as in their 20s and standing about 5-foot-10.

One of the men was last seen wearing a black skull cap, a black shirt and black pants, while the other thief was wearing dark pants and a button-down shirt.

A Sanitation worker was arrested early yesterday for choking his wife at the couple’s home in Jamaica, authorities said.

Napoleon Robinson, 52, was arguing with his wife at about 12:30 a.m. when he went berserk and attacked her, police sources said.

Cops arrested him on a strangulation charge.

Police did not immediately know what sparked the violence.

The victim received hospital treatment for minor injuries.

Staten Island

Three assailants robbed and beat a teen in Park Hill, authorities said.

Harold Hansen, 18, Obasryi Osunbayo, 17, and Marquise Wade, 17, confronted the victim at Mosel Avenue and Manton Place last Wednesday at about 6 p.m. and demanded his cellphone, court documents state.

When the victim refused to hand it over, the trio smacked him around and punched him in the face several times, according to a Criminal Court complaint.

They snatched the victim’s cellphone and fled, the complaint states.

Cops busted the suspects nearby on charges of attempted robbery, attempted petit larceny and assault, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

Hansen was held on $35,000 bail, according to the Department of Correction.
