22 yrs. in slay of DA-big kin

The man convicted of fatally stabbing Daniella Mannino in April 2011 was sentenced yesterday to 22 years in prison — but not before hearing exactly what the victim’s family thinks of him.

“You are a disgrace to the human race. My wish is that you suffer every minute of every day for the rest of your sorry life,” cousin Lucia Mannino told Brian Sohtz, 38, in Brooklyn Supreme Court.

Daniella Mannino, 34, was the daughter of Joseph Mannino, director of the Services Department at the Brooklyn DA’s Office.

She left behind a daughter, Sabrina. Yesterday, between sobs, the girl, now 14, told the court, “My mom was the most amazing person in the world.”
