Dimon: ‘Life goes on’

JPMorgan boss Jamie Dimon apologized — sort of — to shareholders for the bank’s embarrassing $6 billion “London Whale” loss.

“If you’re a shareholder of mine, I apologize deeply,” Dimon said at the World Economic Forum yesterday in Davos, Switzerland. “But we had record results, and life goes on.”

The bank posted record profit of $21.3 billion last year despite the trading debacle. However, Dimon was less fortunate and took a 50 percent pay cut.
