Two more arrested in connection with fatal August shootout in Crown Heights

Cops arrested two more people in connection to a shootout that killed a 17-year-old boy at a Crown Heights cookout on St. Marks and Nostrand Avenues at 1:20 a.m. back on August 21, cops said.

Detectives caught up with suspect Anthony Morris,23, on Amsterdam Avenue and West 90 Street at about 7 p.m. on January 15, cops said. He was arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.

As a result of an ongoing investigation, cops picked up Travis Bourne,23, who was collared yesterday, police sources said. Bourne was also charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.

Lamount Samuell,21, was nabbed on October 6 and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in connection to the homicide, cops said.

The Post previously reported the victim, Darius Robinson, 17, was killed over accusations of stealing disc-jockey equipment at the cookout.
