Fashion ‘Weak’ amid snow woe

Battling the blinding snow is tricky in those heels.

Winter storm Nemo wreaked havoc on New York Fashion Week yesterday, delaying deliveries, prompting designer no-shows — and even forcing A-listers to wear ugly old snow boots.

Designer Jenni Kayne — whose clients include actresses Rashida Jones and Kate Walsh — got stuck in Los Angeles due to a canceled flight, according to her publicist.

“We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience — but the show must go on!” she wrote.

Models will still hit the runway to show off Kayne’s free-flowing threads at 11 a.m. on Saturday — sans the designer herself.

She’s not the only no-show at the big show.

Katie Holmes — who recently launched a 1940s-inspired fashion line — skipped her own runway show yesterday, too, sources said.

Holmes missed her spotlight moment to pick up her daughter, Suri, early from school because of the storm, sources said.

The snowy snafu comes after clothing god Marc Jacobs postponed his show from Monday to Thursday due to the impending snowstorm, citing problems with fabric deliveries.

Other designers are now having trouble with deliveries, too, sources say.

The J.Crew team was expecting a huge truckload of clothes today, but it likely won’t arrive in time for the Tuesday show, sources said.

Not to mention many A-listers were forced to wear — God forbid!— flats instead of heels.

Yesterday, some designers and models arrived at Lincoln Center wearing snow boots, destroying potential high-fashion photo ops.

But others decided looking good was more important than staying warm.

“Everyone is underdressed. It’s really funny — somebody was wearing flat shoes with her whole foot exposed,” said Sophia Vouzianas, a 25-year-old banker from Long Island.

She said model-types wore tiny blazers instead of real jackets.

“I see people coming down, and I’m like, ‘Are you stupid?” she said.

Calvin Klein was also forced to house his creative team in a hotel next door to the show due to the storm.
