Elevator gal kin’s death suit

The family of the Manhattan advertising executive killed in a gruesome elevator accident is suing the repair company for allegedly causing her death.

Alex Hart filed the suit against Transel Elevator and Electric after his daughter, Suzanne, a Young & Rubicam exec, was crushed in December 2011 at the Madison Avenue building where she worked.

Transel failed to re-enable a safety circuit, disconnect a “jumper cable” that bypassed the circuit, and tell the Department of Buildings to inspect the elevator, according to the suit, filed in Brooklyn Supreme Court on Jan. 22.

A spokesman for the company declined to comment.
