Baby doing better after mom killed by snow plow

The Brooklyn baby delivered by C-section after his mother was fatally struck by a snow-removal vehicle remains in critical condition — but was doing “better” Saturday, his father said.

“Last night he [was] OK—better now,” the baby’s distraught father, Jin Lin, told The Post in broken English. “The baby’s OK.”

Lin and wife Min Lin, 36, were loading groceries into their car in Sunset Park when a Bobcat driven by the owner of Fei Long Market struck her during Thursday’s storm.

She was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center, where she died. Doctors delivered the baby boy but fear he may have organ and brain damage. He was connected to a heart monitor and breathing tube.

Heartbroken relatives remained at the hospital on Saturday, while they continued to make funeral plans for Min Lin.

Wu Wu, 42, who owns the Bobcat that struck Min Lin, was hit with three summonses: No inspection, headlamp or license plates on the vehicle.

Neighbors have said they’re used to seeing Wu driving erratically in the neighborhood.

“He almost hit me and my wife yesterday as we were going across the street,” charged one neighbor, Marvin Lopez, who lives across the street from the store.

“The guy was a speed demon. I thought, that man is going to kill somebody someday. And look what happens.”
