Police shot an armed man in Brooklyn yesterday after he turned his gun on officers, cops said.
The man tried to flee cops at 5:45 p.m. on Glenmore Avenue in East New York, police said.
He was shot once in the stomach after he allegedly pointed a gun at officers.
The incident took place a short distance from where Gino Mercado, 16, was shot by cops Monday.
Mercado was charged yesterday with attempted assault on police for aiming a gun at officers.
