Kate’s clue on baby’s sex

A little princess could be on the way for Prince William and Kate Middleton — the royal mom-to-be dropped a hint about the gender of her baby while mingling with a crowd yesterday in England.

The Duchess of Cambridge may have let the secret slip when she was handed a teddy bear by a well wisher, according to the Daily Mail.

“Thank you, I will take that for my d . . .,” she said before stopping herself short. “For my baby,” she finished.

Sandra Cook, 67, heard the gaffe and said she asked the duchess, “You were going to say daughter, weren’t you?”

“No, we don’t know,” Middleton insisted.

A royal daughter from Kate and Prince William would be a historic first, since Queen Elizabeth recently overturned a century-old law that said only males could succeed to the crown.
