A is for atrociously sick movie

Quick, the barf bag! “The ABCs of Death” is an international collection of 26 short “tales about death,” each by a different up-and-coming director and each inspired by a letter of the alphabet.

A few are worthwhile, like Nacho Vigalondo’s Spanish black comedy “A Is for Apocalypse” and Xavier Gens’ “X Is for XXL,” from France. But most are exercises in sickening bad taste, with an emphasis on human bodily functions. The biggest stinkers? “T Is for Toilet” and “F Is for Fart.” If you want to see a horror movie this weekend, make it Park Chan-wook’s stylish “Stoker.”
