Twisted Pistorius ‘tribute’

PRETORIA, South Africa — Oscar Pistorius made sure the world knew that he mourned the model girlfriend he shot dead on Valentine’s Day in an “intensely private” service yesterday.

The Olympian, who faces a possible life sentence in prison for killing Reeva Steenkamp as she cowered in a bathroom, “specifically requested the memorial service as he continues to grieve,” said his publicist, Janine Hill.

The ceremony was held at the suburban Pretoria home of his uncle Arnold Pistorius, where the legless runner has been staying since he was released on $113,000 bail last Friday.

Steenkamp was cremated on Feb. 19 while Pistorius was in jail.

Separately, the judge overseeing the murder trial said his own first cousin was involved with a horrific murder-suicide this past weekend.

Desmond Nair said cousin Anusha Maharaj poisoned her 12- and 17-year-old children, then killed herself.
