Katz wants bank accounts shielded from Sliwa’s ex-wife

Queens Borough President Melinda Katz wants to shield her bank records from the ex-wife of live-in boyfriend Curtis Sliwa, after the lovebirds gave conflicting testimony in court.

The Guardian Angels founder said in a Manhattan Family Court proceeding against ex-wife Mary Sliwa last October that he paid Katz $10,000 a month for the children she conceived through in-vitro fertilization using his frozen sperm.

But in December, Katz, a former Assemblywoman and City Council member, told the judge she received only $5,000 installments.

“The issue arises, where does the truth lie?” Mary Sliwa’s attorney, Paul Siegert, asks in court papers.
Mary Sliwa made the document demand after her ex slashed payments for their son, Anthony, from $13,000 a month to $2,500 last year following a salary cut.

Katz attorney Steven Mintz, called the subpoena an attempt to “harass and annoy” his client.
