He’s lucky to have survived first the bat and then the asphalt.

A bicyclist suffered only minor head wounds when he rode past a car parked on Flushing Avenue near Varick Street at about 5:40 a.m. on April 18 and was hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat by someone leaning out the window, police sources said.

The bat swinger immediately fled the scene, leaving the dazed cyclist sprawled on the sidewalk in Bushwick.

The man told police he had no clue about why he was attacked.

The cyclist was taken by EMS to a local hospital, where he was treated for a minor head injury, according to a law- enforcement source.

The toughest part was just reaching the ATM.

First, the crook or crooks had to figure out a way to break into the Iona Bar on Grand Street near Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, police sources said.

They did so by cutting open the front gate of the Scottish saloon at about 3:30 a.m. on April 17.

Then they had to drill a hole in the ATM, located in a vestibule, the police sources said.

The payoff was $2,340 in cash, investigators said.

Nearly $20,000 in camera equipment was stolen from a rental car parked in Bushwick, police sources said.

A 32-year-old photographer told officers responding to his 911 call that he noticed late at night on April 19 that there was broken glass on the sidewalk outside the vehicle and that his gear was missing.

The equipment included a video camera, a tripod, numerous lenses and other photographic paraphernalia, according to the sources.

Police are searching for two men suspected of sexually abusing and mugging a Chicago tourist lost in Chinatown.

The 38-year-old woman was near Chrystie and Grand streets at about 9:30 p.m. on April 15 when she asked the men for directions, cops said.

As one accompanied her to a bus stop, the other followed closely behind and suddenly pounced, pinning the woman to a wall while his partner punched her in the ribs and thighs and molested her, cops said.

They then ran off with her purse, which contained her debit card, ID and cash, police said.

The woman suffered minor injuries, cops said.

A domestic dispute turned violent Monday afternoon in East Harlem when a husband stabbed his wife because he thought she was cheating on him, sources said.

The 41-year-old victim arrived home from work at about 3 p.m. and got into an argument with her husband, Marino Paulino, 49, who accused her of sleeping with another man, sources said.

At one point, the victim told Paulino she was leaving him and taking the kids, sending her husband over the edge.

Paulino allegedly ran to the kitchen, grabbed a knife and began stabbing her multiple times on a living-room couch, according to sources.

During the struggle, the woman grabbed the blade and bit her hubby’s hand, forcing him to drop the knife.

She then tossed it under a bed and ran to a neighbor’s apartment, sources said.

The victim was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition with stab wounds to the back, head, torso and thigh.

Officers found Paulino in the apartment bedroom with a kitchen knife sticking in his neck. He was taken to Metropolitan Hospital and later charged with attempted murder, sources said.

A 50-year-old man trying to cross the Harlem River Drive in the dark was fatally struck by an SUV, police said.

Stanley Williams, struck near East 135th Street at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday, was rushed by EMS to Harlem Hospital, but he could not be saved.

The 31-year-old driver of the Chevrolet SUV remained at the scene, and the accident is under investigation, police said.

Williams was a resident of the Wagner housing development on East 124th Street, cops said.

A creep sneaked up behind a 60-year-old woman on a street in Belmont, yanked off her necklace, snatched her cellphone and ran off, authorities said.

The attack took place as the woman walked on Hoffman Street near East Fordham Road at 12:05 p.m. last Friday, police said.

She suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, according to investigators.

The suspect was described as about 5-foot-8 and was last seen wearing sunglasses and a blue sweater with white lettering on the back, cops said.
