‘Bomb mom’ gets probation in weapons case

Dalton-grad “bomb mom” Morgan Gliedman was sentenced to five years probation Tuesday after pleading guilty to a weapons possession charge for stockpiling explosives and guns for her trust fund junkie boyfriend.

Gliedman, the daughter of a renowned oncology specialist, always said the arsenal belonged to Aaron Greene, with whom she shared a posh Greenwich Village pad.

The arsenal included shotguns, ammunition, knives and a terrorist encyclopedia.

“We are happy about the resolution,” said Gliedman’s defense attorney Gerald Shargel. “I’m glad she’ll have the opportunity to go on with her life.”

The 27-year-old and her former beau were arrested Dec. 29 after cops discovered the weapons cache and numerous terrorist and do-it-yourself bomb-making handbooks in their apartment.

Greene was plotting to blow up the Washington Square Arch, cops said at the time. He accepted a plea deal of seven years in prison.

Gliedman developed a heroin addiction after she shacked up with Greene.

While in custody the strung out mom gave birth to little girl before attending a drug rehab program.
