Jennifer Lopez buying $10M Hamptons mansion

Jennifer Lopez will plunk down $10 million for an exclusive Water Mill estate, The Post has learned.

The Bronx native has been in the market for a Hamptons mansion for years — and finally settled on a custom-designed spread near Mecox Bay.

THAT’S QUITE A SPREAD: Now you can call her Jenny from the Hamptons. Jennifer Lopez has agreed to pay M for this lush Water Mill estate, which boasts eight bedrooms and is located on a secluded cul-de-sac. (

It’s got a sauna, steam room, theater and a pool — along with eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

But what really sold the “Jenny from the Block” songstress on the 8,659-square-foot summer home was the promise of privacy — the house is set on three acres and tucked into a cul-de-sac on Bay Lane.

“She was serious about buying this time,” a source said, adding that the price was “a steal.”

It costs $425,000 to rent the house from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The former “American Idol” judge, 43, and her entourage — including 25-year-old boyfriend Caspar Smart and her twin 5-year-olds, Emme and Max — visited the estate several times.

Lopez also liked that there was plenty of room to build a guest house for visiting family, staff or for more of her entourage, sources said.

It’s what set this home — which was built in 2006 and previously owned by Ian and Alicia Stone — apart from another she was looking at just down the block.

That home was asking $17..9 million and closed last year for $15.1 million to a different buyer, One Nineteen LLC, of 399 Park Ave.

“This is a better deal,” the source said. “It’s a better property and it is more private.”

“It’s an amazing, great buy,” the source continued.

The listing broker, Susan Breitenbach, of The Corcoran Group, could not be reached for comment.

Corcoran described the home as “Perfect summer retreat with every amenity … in an amazing location. Light, bright Hamptons beach house with privacy guaranteed on a secluded cul-de-sac.”

Last year, Forbes ranked Lopez No. 1 on its Celebrity 100 list, earning $52 million in 2012.

Meanwhile, singer Marc Anthony, J.Lo’s third-ex-husband — recently bought a $2.5 million home in Encino, Calif.

It’s a gated Italian villa with a courtyard, fountain and two-story foyer with limestone floors and a curved staircase. The grounds include a pool, spa, pool house and lots of palm trees.
