A science project caused a scare at a Brooklyn high school this morning, cops said.
An object that looked like a missile was found in the basement of Sheepshead Bay High School about 9:55 a.m. A school safety officer called 911, and the students were evacuated, authorities said.
NYPD Bomb Squad arrived at 11 a.m., and declared it harmless.
The missile was actually for a student’s science project, cops added.
