NBA: Knicks to part ways with White

The Knicks are expected to decline their team option on James White, making the 6-foot-7 forward a free agent. He likely will sign overseas and could land in China. White’s agent, Bill McCandless, said Knicks GM Glen Grunwald told him a week ago the team likely would pick up his client’s option, but as the draft grew closer the team changed its tune. — Marc Berman

MLB: Cuddyer’s hit streak up to 26 in Rockies win

In Denver, Michael Cuddyer singled in the first inning to extend his hitting streak to 26 straight games and Nolan Arenado hit a walk-off single with two outs in the ninth to lift the Rockies to a 2-1 victory over the Giants. … The Royals designated ex-Mets outfielder Jeff Francoeur for assignment.

TOUR DE FRANCE: Finish line turns into bus stop

In Porto Vecchio, Corsica, the first stage of the 100th Tour de France ended with a bus stuck under an archway at the finish line until minutes before the first riders arrived.

German rider Marcel Kittel beat Russian sprinter Alexander Kristoff in a dash to the line after a major crash wiped out some other competitors. Organizers considered moving the finish line up to avoid the bus, then changed their minds at the last moment after the bus was freed.

GOLF: Four-way tie for lead at AT&T National
