Twenty years later, they still sound great.

Jesse and the Rippers – John Stamos’s fictitious band from the sitcom “Full House” – reunited for a mini-concert on Friday’s episode of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

Fallon identified the group as “a great band from San Francisco. In 1992, their single ‘Forever’ became a number-one hit … in Japan.”

With that, Jesse Katsopolis (Stamos) and company took the stage, rocking out underneath a sign for the Smash Club – Jesse’s nightclub on the show.

The group ran through a series of covers, including “Forever” by the Beach Boys, Elvis’s “Little Sister” and “Hippy Hippy Shake” by Chan Romero. The band performed that song at Disney World on the sitcom.

Jesse and the Rippers closed Friday’s mini-concert with the theme song for the show, which ran from 1987 to 1995.

‘Uncle Jesse’ brought along some old friends Friday. Co-star Bob Saget – Danny Tanner on the series – sat in the audience, shaking to the music. At the end of the performance, Jesse’s on-screen wife, Becky (Lori Loughlin) emerged, giving her TV man a smooch, Becky and Jesse together again.
