TAILORED LAYERS Oribe recently gave Jennifer Lawrence a fresh cut for the September cover of Vogue, on newsstands now. “It’s such a great haircut that can be tailored for anyone . . . It’s layered in the right spots to complement a woman’s individual features,” he says. “There’s an easiness, a sexiness, a volume to it.” AP

WAVY BLOWOUTS Ride the wavy this season with a sexy but polished blowout. “Jennifer Aniston has a great sleek look that’s good for fall,” DreamDry’s Moise says. Aniston’s no-frills blowout works for daytime and can transition into an elegant look for a night out. James Coldrey/startraksphoto.com

WAVY BLOWOUTS Go bigger — and sexier — with a bombshell style like Blake Lively’s. “Blake’s blowouts have lots of curls and volume,” says Moise, who expects the look to be a popular request among DreamDry customers this fall. “As the humidity drops in New York, we’ll be seeing women wanting more volume.” Janet Mayer/Splash

HEAVY BANGS When it comes to fringe, don’t lighten up.“Really heavy bangs are in for fall, right above your eyebrow,” stylist Maranghello says, pointing to Kim Kardashian’s blunt bangs. “That’s a cool look that you can get with extensions.” WireImage

2 WAYS TO DO THE WAVE 1. “This 1920s and 1930s look is in for fall,” Maranghello says. He suggests bringing the soft look up to date with a deep, sleek side part and waves crafted with sculpting gel — a look models sported for the Bottega Veneta fall 2013 fashion show and often donned by Katy Perry of late. 2 WAYS TO DO THE WAVE 2. Leave your beach waves on the shore. Oribe says women can rock a long, wavy style without looking like surfer girls. He singles out E! News host Giuliana Rancic’s “modern” wavy tresses for inspiration. “She looks cool.” WireImage

SHADES OF GRADIENT Phase out your old ombré with a gradual gradient. “It’s more in the same color family than ombré and not so dark to light,” Hazan explains. She says the look results in ends just a shade or two lighter than the roots. FilmMagic

SLEEK UPDOS Forget the sloppy summer buns and braids — fall is about prim updos and perfectly sleek plaits. “We’re expecting to see a lot of smooth, elegant braids,” Moise says, adding that “Game of Thrones” is good for inspiration. “Everything from waterfall and crown braids to fishtails can be great for fall as long as they’re pulled back tightly.” Beyond Westeros, supermodel Linda Evangelista recently looked the picture of sophistication with a prim pull-back at the CFDA Fashion Awards. “I’m bored of the undone, throw-it-up look,” Oribe says. “I think a more precise updo is better for fall.” WireImage

SEXY SHOULDER-LENGTH LOCKS! Fall is a great time to take the plunge with a new cut while you’re trimming off your sun-damaged ends, notes Oribe. He recently chopped model Daria Werbowy’s long locks for a fresh change. “Shorter hair looks more modern,” he says. Getty Images
