Four teens arrested in peer’s fatal stabbing

Police have arrested four teens wanted for fatally stabbing a high school student this past spring just steps from his Brooklyn home, authorities said.

Kenny Chen, 17, was killed after being lured outside his Bensonhurst home by a phone call sometime around midnight June 9, cops said.

Family members said the boy’s father ordered him not to go outside, but Chen disobeyed. Hours later, he was found beaten and stabbed near Benson and 26th Avenues, cops said.

Police Tuesday arrested Peter Sedeno, the alleged killer, along with Daquan Jackson, Dayshawn Young and Daine Daley, all 17, cops said.

It’s believed Chen may have had some kind of dispute with the teens at some point before his death, sources said, and may have believed the late night meeting would possibly resolve the issue.

Instead, the group viciously beat the Murry Bergtraum HS student before Sedeno stabbed him repeatedly sometime around 3:30 a.m. He was rushed to Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said Chen was found with a large quantity of marijuana on him, along with rolling papers, but it’s unknown if the drugs had anything to do with his death, cops said.

“His father told him not to go out there but he went anyway,” said Chen’s sister Betty, 24. “But it brings us a little relief to know that they caught who killed my brother.”

Sedeno was charged with murder and is currently awaiting arraignment at Brooklyn Criminal Court, cops said. The other three accomplices are also awaiting arraignment and face charges of gang assault.
