Eminem return marches on in ‘Survival’

Eminem may not have released an album since 2010’s “Recovery,” but that doesn’t mean he’d given up on rap.

On Tuesday, the rapper premiered the video for “Survival,” the second single off of his latest album, “The Marshall Mathers LP2,” on his Vevo page.

The video, which mainly consists of the 40-year-old mugging around a dilapidated warehouse, also features footage from concerts and game play from video game “Call of Duty: Ghosts.” The song originally premiered in a trailer for the Activision game.

Once considered one of rap’s biggest stars, Eminem has spent the last half decade being eclipsed by other MCs. His latest album is a sequel to 2000’s “The Marshall Mathers LP,” one of rappers most revered releases, and has been viewed by many as a comeback record.

“Marshal Mathers LP 2” is due out November 5.
