ArtBattles adds splashes of color to empty midtown space

1 of 8
Four well-known graffiti artists have been painting a 25-foot high mural in the ground floor of Midtown’s 5 Bryant Park, a vacant retail space with plenty of windows for passersby to peek in and gaze at the not-quite-street art. The project is organized by ArtBattles, a competitive art organization, and is using the vacant space as part of a rebranding and nearly year-long renovation of the building.
