FIRST LOOK: LISTEN FOR THE SIREN

AFTER 10 years of family-friendly “battles” that took place daily in front of Las Vegas’ Treasure Island hotel and casino, pirates both good and bad have been shown the door. TI, as it’s now called in an effort to lure a younger, hipper demographic, is celebrating its 10th birthday by launching a new outdoor show spectacular that’s got a terrifically racy twist – sexy female sirens wearing little more than black eye patches will battle a band of renegade male swashbucklers, who themselves will reveal plenty of flesh. Starting Oct. 26, three times daily, at 7, 9 and 11 p.m., there will be swords, stunts, fireworks, songs, dances and some grown-up seduction in this Las Vegas version of the battle of the sexes. This is definitely not one for the kids (treasureisland.com).
