OUTKAST HITS THE APEXXX

OutKast‘s latest disc, “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below,” swept five charts this week, including the top 200 album sales, R&B, rap, alternative and alternative core.

In a week with a whopping seven new releases in the top 10, the hip-hop duo’s follow-up to “Stankonia” sold 590,700 copies, according to SoundScan.

The MTV “TRL” favorites kept Dave Matthews‘ debut solo effort from topping the week’s sales. At No. 2, Matthew’s disc “Some Devil,” sold 469,100 copies.

Limp Bizkit‘s new one, “Results May Vary,” debuted at No. 3, while R. Kelly‘s “The R. in R&B Collection, Vol. 1” hit No. 4. Rapper Obie Trice, with production help from Eminem, hit No. 5 with his debut, “Cheers.”
