Cops have questions for couple who dropped off corpse

A woman’s bloody corpse was dropped off at a Queens hospital by a couple who claimed they found her in the street with a gunshot wound to the head, police sources said Tuesday.

The 38-year-old Harlem woman, whose name was not released pending family notification, was shot once execution-style at an unknown location in the city, sources said.

The couple who dumped the body in the emergency room at Jamaica Hospital told authorities that they found her on Sutphin Bouelvard, sources said.

But investigators who responded to that location couldn’t find any evidence of a shooting, sources said.

Friends of the mother of three immediately suspected the culprits were a husband and wife, with whom the victim had a menage a trois, sources said.

“They both abused her on a regular basis,” a neighborhood friend told The Post. “She came back regularly from being with this couple in Queens with burns on her face and marks. It was them. They did it.”

The duo is being sought by police for questioning.
